Privacy Policy for Monster Mogul
Last Updated: January 26, 2026
1. Introduction Monster Mogul (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. We operate in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families Policy. This policy explains how we handle data in our financial literacy and banking simulation application.
2. Information We Collect We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide our services.
A. Information from Parents To create a family management account, we may collect:
- Email address (for authentication via Google Sign-In).
- Name or display name.
B. Information from Children We do not collect personal contact information (like phone numbers or physical addresses) from children. We collect only:
- Display Name: A nickname (e.g., “BigSaver”) used to identify the child within the family group.
- Simulated Financial Data: Records of virtual allowances, chore completion, and savings goals. Note: This app does not connect to real bank accounts or collect real credit card/banking credentials. All currency within the app is virtual and for educational purposes only.
- Device Identifiers: Persistent identifiers (like an Advertising ID) used solely for support of internal operations, such as authentication, crash reporting, and contextual advertising.
3. No User-Generated Content or Social Sharing To ensure the safety of our users, Monster Mogul does not allow users to share text, images, or videos. There are no chat features, messaging tools, or public profiles. Data is shared strictly between the parent and the child within the closed family unit.
4. Advertising The free version of Monster Mogul may display advertisements to users.
- Family-Safe Ads: We use third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) that are certified by the Google Play Families Ads Program.
- No Behavioral Targeting: We do not use “interest-based” or “behavioral” advertising for child users. Ads shown to children are “contextual,” meaning they are based on the content of the app (e.g., a toy ad in a game), not on the user’s browsing history.
- Ad Content Filtering: We enforce strict filters to prevent inappropriate ad categories (e.g., gambling, dating, or alcohol) from appearing in the app.
5. Third-Party Service Providers We use trusted third-party services to support the app’s internal operations. These providers are contractually obligated to protect user data:
- Google Firebase (Backend): Used for secure user authentication and cloud database storage.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to collect non-personal, aggregated data on app stability and crash reporting.
- Google AdMob (Advertising): Used to display family-appropriate advertisements.
6. Parental Rights (COPPA Notice) Parents and guardians have full control over their child’s data. You have the right to:
- Review the information collected about your child.
- Request the deletion of that information.
- Refuse further collection or use of the child’s information.
Since all child accounts are managed directly under the Parent Account, you can edit or delete a child’s data at any time directly within the app settings. For further assistance, please contact us below.
7. Contact Us If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at:
